Screeching noise

    There is this noise that seems be coming from wheel when I touch brake then I touch again it'sfine the handbrake light was coming on at the start

    ANY ideas thanks

    Best get a mechanic to check if the brake pads needs changing.

    You do realise that if the pads are not good you might have a collision?

    Sounds like your brake wear indicator was telling you you needed pads.

    3 weeks or not i reckon you need pads.

    In your case the handbrake light was more or less a 'stop' light , and telling you to stop driving because something needs attention
