So i spent my saturday attempting to pull in more sateillites and failed miserably. i bought a triax td54 with a flexiblock (2 lnb holder) and i've only managed to pull in 19.2e and that is all, i haven't even tried the multiblock yet but i know it's going to be even harder with that. I know the td54 isn't the ideal option for pulling in a lot of sats but i had hoped to pull in at least 2 with this dish. My ideal setup is 19.2e and 13e on the td54, any tips?

Td54 is way too small for a multi-system such as 19 and 13...you would want at least a Td-78....an 80cm dish is recommended for hotbird 13 on its own.....it will work on a 60 but will suffer on bad weather days..

is there anything else i can do with the td54? monoblock lnb or something? it doesnt even have to be 13e if i can pull in 28.2e as well that would be fine

A mono block is designed for mainland Europe it won't work correctly in Ireland dishes are too far apart.

Only thing you can do with a 54 is either point it to one or another dish who advised you to buy such a small dish in the first place??

    Don't bother with a monoblock.

You should be able to get 19 & 28 with that dish, though not sure how well the signal will hold up in all weathers.

I would think getting the 2 LNBs close enough together on a dish that size would rule out 19 & 13, no matter about anything else. A bigger dish allows closer together satellite positions to be received, as the spacing between LNBs is wider.

Extremely difficult to get 28 and 13 on a td78 depending on where u are would be no way you would get.a reliable signal from.28 and 13 on a td54.

19 & 28 is what I said, OP said it doesn't have to be 13.
