Hello all hoping to get some advice. I'm driving a 2010 Honda Accord diesel station wagon. It's the first time I'm changing the tyres and I'm wondering what others have been happy with.

Tyre size is 225/50ZR17. Currently they are Pace brand which I'm not entirely happy with in the wet but they are worn. I don't have huge money to spend on them but at the end of the day they are the only thing between me and the road so I'm not going to skimp on them either, but if hate to spend a lot of money and not get the value out of them.

I'd guess you're gonna need closer to 600 than 400 unless you get very lucky with a local deal. Have you looked online and do you know if anyone local will fit tyres bought online.

Well if necessary I could stretch to that, haven't looked into buying online yet just wondering what brand/type people are recommending first.

why put ditch finders in a 2010 Accord? I would say you need at least 150euro ish for decent tyres per corner, up to you how you want to go.

I had Bridgestone turanzas on my Accord when I had it. They were very good only had it a year so never changed them so not sure the cost.

I am looking at that car for my next wagon, a few years down the line so I was interested in this.

Falken and Kumho are the only brands I recognise in the sub-100 euro range, online.

The Hankook H730 I would want looks to be around 130 a corner on the Accord, which would be 75 per corner the last time I got them for the Golf. :(
Sure the Golf is grand for now :p

You can check review of tyres here http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/
Purchase tyres at places like http://www.eiretyres.com/
Agree with some local place for fitting etc.

    My fav brand http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Uniroyal/RainExpert.htm
