alternative cancer treatment

My partner was diagnosed with bowel cancer recently. It is 2nd week after surgery. Chemotherapy is recommended in his case. We would like to try alternative methods though. Particulary B17 I. V. treatment. Unfortunately it is extremely hard to find any specialist, doctor or centre in Ireland and Europe even, to create treatment and supervise it.
Is here anyone who can advise/direct us where we can find someone to turn to?
Doctors seem to be allergic to phrase "alternative treatment" and won't talk or even listen to it.

For excellent reasons. I hope you're not thinking of alternative treatments as alternatives to treatment?

Sorry to hear of the diagnosis.

Alternative treatment that works becomes treatment. There is little scientifically proven evidence that b17 IV has any effect. It would be wrong to consider it instead of chemo tbh.

Because a lot of alternative medicines and theories don't work, that's why.

Go with whatever the experts are telling you, they have their patients best interest at heart.

    Wishing you all the best.

You see, because in this part of the world alternative treatment are not consider as treatment at all it doesn't mean it doesn't work at all.
My partner comes from Philippines were b17 is widely in use. With much better efect than chemo. His aunt is best example-8 years after aggressive breast cancer, never touched chemo, only b17 + immuno system boosters and she is doing better than ever. While two other uncles had chemo, were in and out of hospital and they died anyway after few years - from bowel cancer.
So you see....We know little about methods used in Asia. There are no scintific evidence, I know. But we know and heard about people who are doing very well on it.

Decision was made anyway. I'm just asking for help to find someone competent.
