Looking for a minibus...any links?

Hi... My company is looking for a minibus to pickup and drop clients to airport etc

Looking for 7 seater with budget of €10-€15k

They seem to be scarce enough..... Anyone see any good deals on a 2nd hand one out there.

Did you look in the usual places like carzone.ie, donedeal.ie, local dealers, etc?

How many seats do you need? You have the VW Caravelle, Mercedes Benz Vito and Ford Transit Tourneo which are 7 to 9 seaters.

As rare as hens teeth. If you're going to make it into a psv be careful of the ones with dark glass as they won't pass nct/suitability.

Really? Do PSVs have separate requirements? Surely tints are fine or every limo and 'party bus' in the country would be off the road?

Limousines are exempt obviously as they're a seperate category and party buses are usually larger than 8 seaters. Anything goes in the larger than 8 seater world seemingly, stick in any aul driver with a D1 licence and away you go... 8 seats or less and it's a whole different ball game.

Not looking to down line of PSV. And want to be conscious that staff can drive it without having D licences.

Yes... The Caravelle or tge Viao is what I thinking along the lines of.

Yes... An looking at calzone etc as well. Nothing locally in main dealers.....

Am in no real hurry..... Just putting out feelers at this stage to see what is out there

Those Montana's look nice how well they'd last would be my main worry.

They're quite robust, uncle has the panel van version for years with no issues. I know a few people with them who would buy one again.

What is the spares situation like? Can you get consumables in auto factors?

They share most bits with the h1 van, it wouldn't be like getting parts for a transit where you could nearly get them in Argos
