Very sad news today. Diarmuid Mac An Adhastair, who has played the role of Séamus Mhicil Tom on Ros na Rún for almost 20 years, has passed away.

A much loved character both on and off screen, he was truly the face of Ros na Rún, and will be sorely missed.

May he Rest In Peace.

RnaR will never be the same again. No-one wore a cap better, front or backways and no-one could say bitch quite like Séamus.
He seems to have been a lovely man and a generous actor, judging by that clip.
He'll be missed.
