Guys I'm just wondering if any of you had to replace the screen on your Golfbuddy? My Pt4 fell out of the holder last week and the screen is in bits. Been onto Golfbuddy and they are quoting me €150 for a screen, ouch. Is there anywhere else in the country that repair these?

If you can find a replacement screen on eBay or elsewhere, someone who replaces phone screens might be able to do it.
Long shot, but cheaper than €150

Just wondering if you had any luck sourcing a replacement screen outside of golf buddy themselves? Iam in a similar situation now after cracking my screen!

Have you checked to see if this is covered by your golf insurance?

No mate I had no golf insurance, looked everywhere for a screen but went with golfbuddy in the end. Sent it to Kildare to be repaired but it was posted back to me from Germany. I think it's a new golfbuddy they sent me as I got a new plug/charger, holder, manual and screensaver in the box that was sent back. I only sent the GPS, Even the marks on the back of it are gone. Took about 3 weeks in total as they didn't put the right address on the parcel for UPS and that caused a delay. But after a phone call I had the next day.
