Where do you get those long, sticky things that hang from the kitchen ceiling and attract flies and the flies stick to it and can't piss me off anymore? I've looked everywhere and can't find 'em. Fly swatters I'm too lazy to use and these b*stards are immune to flyspray at this stage. It's time to get hardcore.

Ugh those manky yokes! My uncles (farmers) always have two or three of them hanging over the kitchen table in the summer, nothing to put you off your dinner like watching dying flies slowly squirming to death.

Oh and in answer to your question, I'd say most pound shops or hardware type stores.

Fly catcher ribbons :) If your living in the sticks go to the local shop they are bound to have plenty, one of those old school type shops that still sells 1/4's of sweets and the likes.

You can get sunflower things that stick to the window and kill flies, bit prettier looking than a strip of dead and dying flies dangling from the ceiling but also slightly messier in that you have to clean up the dead flies rather than just pulling down the barnacle tongue.

A few birds, or there are also some types of monkey that enjoy chowing down of spiders with bellys full of fly.

Well, I think a bird will sort that out, followed by a cat (if you're to believe the song...)

If he gets a breeding paid of Bullfrogs, they'll eat the flies, I can't see any downside at all :P

Ugh, man, they're gross. Go the whole hog and get one of those electric blue zappy things. Ye, know, zappy things? More humane too I'd imagine, instant death rather than slow torturous death by dehydration, as they kick and struggle, becoming more and more stuck, waiting for the spider that never comes, and praying they get to see the faces of their little maggot babies just one more time before they slip into the long black endless night.

Snake, the mongoose, then bears. Suppose you'll have to shoot the bears then but needs must.

The last time I saw one of them was in that old pub on the right as you enter Lahinch. The landlord is in his 90s
