Hey am looking for a bit of info.I have the van in the title above and had only started to give me trouble. Have just got the pressure boost sensor done. Van still lacks a lot of power now and has misfired a couple times and just cut out while driving.. one of the faults was open circuit on injector 3. Does any1 recommend a solution or a garage which specialises in this engine am not bringing it to a main dealer for guess work to be carried out.

Main dealer will likely be able to tell you in 5 minutes whats wrong if its throwing up codes. These are a troublesome van and they will have seen it before

Hi OP, there was a design flaw in the seals of this model (Trafic & Primastar too) allowing water to drop down on injectors corroding the connections and in some cases causing injectors to become seized in the head. There was a watchdog episode on this too as it was common. Its worth bringing it to main dealer and mentioning this, I do recall a 2008 Trafic with 200,000 klms on the clock getting new injectors 100% free. opel may require service history etc but well worth a try.

Last year my 08 trafic 2litre kept going into limp mode. It threw up a turbo boost error and another on that I can't remember but in the end it was just the airflow meter that needed to be replaced and job sorted then.

Luckily my mechanic and row from boarda know two other mechaincs that service fleets of these vans and they both said it was definatly the airflow meter.
