    Hi,

I currently have a Triax 1.1 Dish, which I'm thinking of putting on a motor. Does anyone have any recommendations for a motor?

    Thanks

    I'm up late.

I have that dish and this motor, Technomate 2600.

That looks a good price from memory, but I have no experience of the seller. It is a good motor, never gave me any problems. I had the 2300 version for years before that and it was equally good.

That type of motor from any maker is only good for dishes up to 1.2 m.

I have had the below motor for 2 years now. Never had any issues, and the set up has been well tested where I am! Quite exposed, I think using a scaffold tube has helped with that.

More expensive on Amazon as it seems to be on sale below. Not sure if there is a newer modrl.

Same motor but different supplier with free postage within UK so 4 Euros with parcel motel.

I've a Moteck SG-2100A motor for over 5 years or so now, still going strong (though it is a bit off the arc atm).

The brackets are getting rusty now so it may soon be time for change.

It's very quiet compared to the rubbish DarkMotor MetalGear motor that preceeded it, which barely lasted a year. I believe the later Superior version is supposed to be er... superior! :)

The SG2100A is probably unavailable these days.

I had the sg2100a before techno mate. Although it still worked fine with over 10years use, the brackets like you say got too rusty
