Its seems the UK security services are telling its nationals to get out of Tunisia, with further threats of terrorist attacks possible, with tour operators flying out empty planes to bring people home, and told thier insurance may be invalid if this advice is ignored.

Can see nothing on the Irish news from the the equivalent Irish departments, advicing are nationals. Do the Irish authorities have such intelligence services, or do we depend on or share this info from the UK?

This is pretty much the impression, with their tourism trade pretty much wiped out for the rest of the season, and beyond, with a win for the terrorists.

Well who would want to stay there?

This is a time to stand by the Tunisian gvt which needs tourism as opposed to ditching them in the sand. Whatever the differences over Syria, Egypt and Libya. Europe should be standing together. Be it the London bombings, Srebrenica or Tunisia terrorism cannot force societies to change their behaviour. Remember the mass surveillance that was introduced after the massive terrorist atrocities earlier in the century and the hate and propaganda that regularly appear in the media over in ISIL territory.

Looks like all the major UK tour operators have cancelled all future bookings to Tunisia up until October.
Terror threat has raised considerably in the last 24 hours according to News outlets

No, this needs to happen. My opinion is based on no experience, but I do believe that what people need is to see their economies, their national heritage (which is happening, with ISIS destroying sites of historical significance), and religious sites, is what will eventually turn the tide against these monsters. It won't be wars or invading countries, because, as has been plainly obvious time and time again, this will just turn more people to their side.

This is very true, as harsh as it sounds. The majority of Tunisian people will not put up with this. Much the same sort of scenario happened in Algeria in the mid 90's when militant Islamist's tried to force the country into submission through the same sort of fear and violence but it didn't work. And when it didn't work the militant's ended up killing each other instead.

Yeah they rely heavily on tourism, I feel sorry for everyone employed in the industry out there.

They gutted the Egyptian tourism sector after the Revolution had already caused economic harm.

Alas I doubt it. They attract fanatics and nut jobs. It takes very few of them to cause this kind of chaos, and they can pop up at any moment, self radicalised on many occasions. Tunisia is going to have to essentially go the same way as Egypt as regards security for tourists.

I think its the only way to defeat them. When their own people turn against them. Their economy may crash in the short term but it will be for the best in the long run.

You'd want to be soft in the head to book a holiday in North Africa right now imo.

And while I agree that ordinary Tunisians etc being economically discommoded by the actions of these fools will be what ultimately turns the tide against them, loads of young unemployed disenfranchised men are an IS recruiter's wet dream.
