Yeah, spend some time sitting down reviewing all that you know about the company and what your role would be and develop a plan for what you would do week by week for the first 100 days.

    That's your presentation

This is pretty standard stuff. Is it a sales job?

Have a look on slideshare.com type in
30/60/90 and you will see some templates

    Good luck.

I wouldn't even bother. I can only imagine what a pain in the nads it would be to work for the kind of company that would ask you to do something like that for a 2nd round interview. Full of uppity arseholes that love the smell of their own shite no doubt.

I've interviewed in the circumstance the OP describes, albeit in a different role, and in the first interview, after initial discussion, was given 10 minutes to consider how I'd approach the first three months.

    It's a standard interview technique

I'm sure if feels great to type stuff like that.

But it's a pretty career limiting attitude.

My current job I had to do a presentation about myself, my skills and how I would establish the new base in Ireland (the company were expanding to here). Pretty standard practice these days for a lot of professional type jobs as it can tell a lot more about someone than a mere interview scenario.

Count your selfs lucky i had to do a presentation in a job i went for last week witch they told me about 20 mins before i had to get ready for it. I had 30 mins to get a 20 min presentation ready about what markets i can see them growing and what would i fix i was giving a 10 page book to read and handed 2 posters and was told do a presentation LoL.

Then I had to do a Q and A about it then.

To make it worse this was for a IT job working with Databases

Just had something pretty similar to that.

Consider the culture of the company and how diverse your role is. Discuss ideas you would like to implement (new marketing campaigns etc); how knowledgeable you'll be by the end of the hundred days (and how you expect to achieve that); new responsiblities you want to take on; how your performance will increase; new technologies or systems you want to implement; your influence on your company's market placement.

Stick to about four and elaborate heavily. Create a vision and be over ambitious. If you're concerned that ideas you want to implement are already in place, don't be. It'll help create rapport with the paneling board.
