Hi, So I was in an accident with an Opel Astra Sedan 2006 two of the door panels are scratched and have to compensate for the damage done. Does anyone know how much roughly it would cost do get this repaired or recommend any garages? From what I could see the panels were just scratched, my fear is that they could be dented under the scratches and as far as I'm aware its quite pricey per panel to be replaced. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated/

You don't have much say in the matter to be honest, the owner of the car has ultimate say, and if you feel they are taking the piss you can simply go through insurance.

If there are deep scratches, it's likely there will need to be considerable respray, so you could be talking 500+ easily. But this is complete guess work, and without having pictures it's impossible to know.

Let your insurer handle it, that's what you pay them for. You can then discus with insurer to pay them back so as to not lose any NCB. Speak to your insurer.
