Any restrictions to engine size? i.e. has she full licence.

I'd be making sure it has cruise control as that road is extremely boring.

I'd be looking at something in the size of a diesel Passat. She wants something quiet and comfy to stop herself getting tired on the way home. Think of a winter evening, pitch dark and lashing rain, you don't want to be sitting in a rattly, loud box thats going full blast at 120 kmh.

Had a 2004 100 bhp 1.9 for a while and it would get 45-48 mpg at 120kmh on a run like that. Cruise control would be a benefit.

BTW the clampers in AIT are fairly harsh but an annual parking permit is €20. After 9 most of the free parking is occupied, the pay car park needs €3 in coins.
