UK pensioners & euro conversions

Can anyone tell me how a UK pensioner would go and convert there pension from sterling to Euro for means test purposes and tax purposes?

A Uk pensioner in Ireland has to fill in a self declaration for income and sometimes has to fill out means test forms for Irish additional benefits. Every time they request their income be converted to Euro`s however the exchange rate changes every day!

Does anyone know what the standard accepted exchange rate is?

    Thanks

If your UK pension is payed into your bank account you will have to take the banks exchange rate ie you can show how much you get in euro`s.

Just put the amount in GBP. SW will apply their own exchange rate.
