I was hoping to study marketing in DIT next year, but am currently short of the points required for the level 8 course (I have 360).

Anyway, I wanted to know if the level 6 degree was worthwhile. My main concern is how difficult it is to gain entry into third year after completing the course, as five years to complete a level 8 degree seems quite excessive. And also if this course differs much from its level 8 counterpart?
