Scott Stallings has been suspended from PGA tour for 3 months.

The three-time Tour winner never failed a drug test, but after suffering from fatigue and being advised by his doctor to take DHEA, an anabolic agent that is the precursor to testosterone production and banned by the Tour, he realized he’d violated the policy and turned himself in which is tantamount to a positive test under the anti-doping program.

    It is possible.

But the history of PED 'innocent excuses' is littered with falsehoods. With a ratio of:

Overwhelming : Miniscule At Best And Even Those Are Questionable.

Unfortunate for anyone who is genuinely innocent. But at this stage, the only sensible reaction to such a revelation is guilty until proven innocent - even if they can never categorically prove the innocence. Its a sad world.

Dammed if you do.....according to the golf channel he informed the PGA and they were unsure what to do as there was no test so we're a bit shocked as unheard of up to now

Surely he could have applied for a TUE if the prescription was legit?

Well he hardly would have turned himself in, even after passing a drugs test if he was knowingly taking PED?

    Hmmmm....

PEDs is a murky world that never ends well; over the counter cough syrup, growth hormone in your steak, not hearing the doorbell, in your toothpaste, you though it was flax seed oil, you performed epic amounts of oral sex on your pregnant wife, ....
    Yeh, yeh.

There is no room for any mercy at all on the topic. Permanent lifetime bans for anyone remotely over the line is the only way to deal with the problem.
