I just adjusted the airflow and I'm loving how airy the vape is, like a whole new experience, but I'm sure I'm detecting a slight burning taste. Haven't changed the coil since I got it a few weeks ago but I haven't used it a lot either, could it be that the coil needs to be changed or could I be vaping at too high a wattage, 9.5? Anyone got any ideas? Thanks

Does sound like it's gunking up alright, change the coil and also give the tank a good rinse in plenty hot water and it'll be good as new

Think I will have to, luckily I got a spare one when I ordered, also I hit the 'thanks' button but it disappeared, odd! Thanks!

Yeah about two weeks for most coils is the limit, even less if you are a heavy vaper.
There a re a couple of tricks to prolong that time though, rinsing the head in hot water, or soaking it in hot water with a drop of vodka, or in a jewelery cleaner (best IMO) will buy you another week on average.
After you are done soaking/rinsing then pop it back in, providing the wick and coils are not totally done you just have to vape through the water (a few puffs should do it) and you'll be back vaping.

Oh great I was hoping there might be a way to 'clean' them, I hate just throwing stuff away if I could figure out a way to reuse them

Another tip would be to vape only clear juices, for some reason the dark food colourings they put in tend to gunk up coils faster than the clear ones.

Personally, I see zero need for food coloursing in e-liquids. Its for visuals only and you are then inhaling food colorings which is a totally unneccessary thing to have to do IMO.

I'm the same, not a fan of the darker liquids, if only that they don't look very nice in the tank
