    Hi guys,

know this may be cheeky, but if there is anyone out there who could fire me a PM with the password for the MotoWi4 router i have on my wall outside supplied by Imagine i'd be very grateful. I've tried all the defaults:
    CLEAR123
    morotola
    admin
    password
    etc etc.....

I need to enable port forwarding but i might as well have been asking for the 3rd secret of Fatima when i rang support. Jaysus it was hard going...

IP address of the unit on wall is http:\\192.168.15.1
Seems to be a generic address for all CPE equipment

Does anyone's brother/sister/cousin/auntie/uncle/dog/cat work in Imagine and could help...

    Many thanks in advance...

Did you ring tech support? I needed the password for mine and they gave it to me.

Would be shocked if any ISP gave you the Admin rights for an external CPE. Router maybe but not the CPE. I know when I was on a fixed wireless connection, I needed a static ip to port forward but might be different with wimax

Imagine gave me mine, I have it at home. Like you I needed it to set up portforwarding :- they said they'd set it up for me, and I said that would require details of my company's VPN which I wasn't willing to disclose. The tech support went away, talked to her boss, and came back and gave it to me.

Unfortunately, it's randomised :- it wasn't anything obvious or default. And it wasn't obviously related to my public IP address. (Obviously it could be a hash of it or something). And it was reasonably strong, quite long and a mixture of letters, numbers and punctuation marks.

Used to have Wimax here (migrated to fibre a few months ago), each Wimax unit has it's own password, and they will give it to the user, but they may look for a written indemnity to cover that you might mess the config up and prevent it from working, that was the case here, as I had to change the DHCP settings to leave some addresses out of the search, to cover the requirement for a couple of network printers that had to be on a fixed IP address in order for the driver to work. You may have to snarl slightly in order to get through to the second level support team who are more au fait with this sort of request, the first level support people tend to be less helpful to discourage the user that doesn't really need to get into the router, but if you press hard enough, it should work out OK.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

Did you try motorola with a small m (if it's typo in your original mail) from the admin logon page 192.168.15.1?
