Cheap cheap motoring

    looking to buy a cheap car. my budget is 1700 has to be cheap to tax cheap to insure and cheap to run
    , low maintanance costs and good mpg looking at possibly a fiat panda 1.2 2005 or something simular any ideas?
    milage wise i do watrford to dublin once a week then mostly town driving after that. any suggestions ?

    Get a Yaris. The extra you spend in intial cost will be saved on low service and fuel costs and it will be absolutely reliable if maintained to a half decent standard by previous owners.

    The problem is that cheap to tax, cheap to insure and cheap to run cars are wanted by everyone so prices tend to be strong. Hard to find one that fits all of these.

    Yaris is your best bet, as previously mentioned. Only €199 tax as well as one of the cheapest insurance categories. Loads of them for sale on donedeal.ie for under €2000 with long NCT's.

    Nissan Micra would be my second choice for costs and reliability.
