    Can anyone tell me where I can buy a Chimney plug or something to seal my chimney.

    I'd like to seal the chimney from the top, Im having all kinds of dampness problems. I don't use the firepace, so I figure I'll just seal it for good.

    Probably not a great idea. If you have damp problems, it's very unlikely that the source of the damp is straight down the flue, from the chimney pot? Something you probably should have somebody (in the know) check out...check the capping to the chimney, flashings, etc.
