    Any good to you?

Has a ptt with a Motorola single pin plug.
Some corrosion in the right hand battery compartment but doesn't affect the operation.

Would not have a use for the motorolla pin, couple of questions,

Is it Comtac ii?? Or a comtac i??
    How old is it?
    Was it used often?
    Are you the first owner?
Is the corrosion from water ingress or a dodgey battery?.

Sorry now but all that info would reflect the price you'd be looking for.

Is it Comtac ii?? Or a comtac i?? Don't know, how can I tell?
How old is it? Only had it a few months
Was it used often? Once when I got them and yesterday when I tested them
Are you the first owner? No, thermo had them before me
Is the corrosion from water ingress or a dodgey battery?. Dodged battery

Different design, if you take a photo from the side I could tell for sure, looks to be COMTAC ii me thinks. And a pic of corrosion if possible?. Yeah I remember now I was looking at them and ya got the bid in before me.

I'm more used to the bowman style headset from our PRR's and find them more comfortable as they fit under helmets and peltors.

I can do €30 shipped for the headset.

Am just after noticing the type of connector coming from the headset to the PTT is completely different to mine as it uses a jackplug, i'll see if I can source a different PTT and we could defo talk as am interested.

It's a bit of an odd connection alright. No bother, let me know how you get on.
