Hi All My nephew has been offered a job with CPL as a new recruitment consultant. Whats ahead of him/ Heard its a tough gig trying to get clients etc etc Anyone have any experience of this company, or of the business and whats expected of a young guy with no experience in the field. Thanks

firstly I don't work in recruitment....but have had the misfortune to deal with quite a lot of them.

Basically its a sales gig. You harvest cvs to show employers you have a lot of candidates on your books. Send them a few candidates, prep the candidates for the role and hope they get it. Agent gets commission from successfully placing candidates.
