Sky being idiots with their addressing system so. Usually only a problem way out in the sticks.

Just go with Vodafone if sky arent capable of sorting it out.

I'm not sure if this is true, but I had heard that sky had done some sort of deal with magnet for migrating TV customers to sky, but that sky had agreed not to poach these customers broadband subscriptions as part of the deal.

I heard this from a friend who works for a management company in an apartment complex that would have originally been magnet only, not sure how true it is though.

If you get the UAN number off magnet (universal account number) sky should be able to move you that way. I had dreadful trouble getting away from Magnet also.

If Your line is connected to LLU exchange magnet will give you their account number as that line is GLUMP/ULMP

What does that mean to a layman?

It means you won't have a UAN but you can use your account number instead of it when porting your number.

I have a UAN supplied by magnet. On the bill there is another UAN which they say is the magnet account number. Neither of these numbers work.
