Hi I recently had to replace 2 valves on my pressurised heating system. 1 was the valve at copper cylinder controlling flow of hot water true tank, and other one was the valve by boiler used to top up system. Its this one I seem
to have trouble with. When I twist white nut on top to leave in water to bring system up to 1 bar, the hand moves to 1 bar, but when I close nut the hand drops down a bit as I tighten nut so its very hard to set pressure. Also water is been released out true release valve at boiler when it runs for hour or more. Any help would be appreciated

Sounds like no air in your expansion tank. Bladder in it might be ruptured or it might just need recharging.

Hi Wearb I am in trouble again as you can see. I also notice that when I set it to 1 bar , it only rises about 1 quarter when running for over hour
