Question on inner tubes

Hi

I've recently got a bike on the cycle to work scheme. The tyres that are on it are Continental Gator Skin Hardshell (700 x 25).

My question is do people use brand tubes or just go with cheaper brands e.g. Halfords (€4.99) or Continental (€7.99).

When picking up the bike I totally forgot to pick up some spare tubes so going to pick up at least 2 tubes tomorrow (one to carry in the saddle pouch).

Much more fussed about the tyre brand/model than the tube. Having said that if I see a decent deal on a bulk order I will go for the Continental on the basis they are probably marginally less likely to have something go wrong with the valve.

If I was let inspect them in the shop I would want ones with least seams, so if I am fixing punctures I do not have to sand them as much.

I bought 12 Lifeline tunes from
Wiggle a few years ago. Still have 9 of them spare (and two in the tyres) They're cheap and have been faultless so far.
