    Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has an idea what this is, found it at a tiny plant which I though was honeysuckle (as it's all over our garden), threw it into the pot it's in now, and didn't really look at it again until this weekend!

I thought it might be a birch, and then a bay tree, but the leaves don't smell like bay would, and I'm not sure enough that it's anything else! Any help appreciated!

Great, that looks like it alright! Now I've no idea what to do with it though!

In an urban environment it's probably not a great tree. If you have a river through the property and don't mind it getting a bit ratty later in the season it does well with its "feet in the water", but in a typical urban garden it's probably not very well suited.
