Any coffee shops sell Latte Macchiatos?

Just back from a holiday in Rome - where I experienced a Latte Macchiatto. I'll thank wiki for the following explanation:
Latte macchiato differs significantly from caffe latte in several ways. First, in a latte macchiato, espresso is added to milk, rather than milk to espresso as in a caffè latte. Second, a latte macchiato features more foam, rather than simply hot milk. A latte macchiato often uses only half an espresso shot or less. Finally, a latte macchiato is often a "layered drink", rather than being mixed as in a caffè latte.

In summary - it is delicious.:D

Has anyone seen this in any coffee shops in Dublin or Waterford or any surrounding areas? It differs from Macchiatos which most coffee shops sell - which is just an expresso with a drop of hot milk.

I haven't had a latte macchiato here but places like Kaph, Vice & 3fe just have a single price for 'milk drinks' & they make whatever you ask for, I've gotten cortados in all before and that wouldn't be hugely common here. So if you ask in any of the places where it looks like the staff know about their coffees I'd say you'll get.

In Berlin, latte macchiatos are popular, but they don't remotely resemble real ones. 3FE would be a good place to ask, as would Kaph, as 3FE offer them in the smaller cups.

Try Lucio on Clanwilliam Terrace, off Grand Canal St. They seem to advertise macchiatos.

Just ask them to make the milk a bit frothy and put it in before the milk?

As it happens, I've seen a 'latte' being made that way in Costa
