Good men's umbrella

    I had to walk somewhere this morning during a heavy shower and realised that I would not be seen dead with the 2 pieces-of-junk umbrellas I have under the stairs. It then occurred to me that I must have bought 7 or 8 umbrellas in my time (never spent heavily, mind you) and none have been up to scratch in terms of quality and durability.

    Can anyone recommend a top-quality men's umbrella for Irish weather. I don't mind spending a few quid but would consider €70-80 the limit, just in case Aongus is reading! Also, I would prefer an ordinary size (1 metre diameter or so) rather than a gigantic golf-umbrella type thing.

    Any help or advice appreciated.
