In Sligo town, you have only one option- Sligo AC.
South county you have Corran AC based in Ballymote, and North Sligo AC are based in Grange (I think)

Sligo AC train on Tuesdays at the IT pitch/track at 6pm, and Thursday sessions are up at the racecourse generally, also at 6pm. If you want any contact details for them drop me a pm.

I don't know much about either of the other clubs, but could propably get you a phone number if you're interested in either.

Just to add to what Libelula said:

AFAIK they (Sligo AC) do a long run every saturday @ 7.57 am.

Search for them on Facebook and maybe send a message to one of the prominent persons (or Pm Libelula). You wont have to be joined up to join them for that run and might be a good way to get started and a suitable session for your marathon.
