Currently, a 2nd hand road bike and a reasonable hybrid. On the way, a shiny new CX / Adventure bike. For n > 3, a storage rethink / domestic conference would be necessary.

Can you count the cracked one as a whole bike?

    4.5 bikes.

None - don't keep any of mine in a shed ....

(elsewhere, 4 road bikes, 3 track bikes, 2 TT bikes, 1 hybrid (which is now permanently attached to the Tacx VR) and a fixie - guess that makes 11

I've a KTM MTB which is in dire need of a serious service and a 5 week old Cube Peloton SL.

The Cube stays in the apartment and the KTM in the carpark.

I wanted to add a 2nd hand hybrid to my Corratec road bike and Halfords MTB but the wife went nuts. There was a stand-off. She said get rid of one of the other one's first. Eh no. I'll try again later in the year when things have calmed a bit.

    1. Felt F5 with full 6800 groupset.
    2. Ridley Compact 10spd Tiagra (mudguards & lights for winter)

    3.5

.5 is my trek 5500, op for images of beauty thread and hanging from the rid of the garage for at least 5 years. I'd like a 1" carbon fork to replace the fork on it and it'd be good to go. Hard to come by though.

    Winter bike (planet x frame).
    Good bike - canyon carbon.
Mtb 29" lapierre full suss. Gift to my 15 year old self and even more chronically under used than my other machines :(

    When N+1>=7 Then.......

Lost count once there was one for every day of the week.

At the moment 8 have wheels with pumped up tyres.
SJS fixie, Raleigh high nelly, Colnago Mexico, Mercian Strada Speciale tourer/gravel, Fixie Inc sunshine bike, Dolan DF3, seven odonata, seven axiom, Merlin Echo mtb

See. I told you I'd lost count.

    All in the house.

Sheds are for lawn mowers etc. Flann O'Brien dictated a higher order for bicycles.

    2, about to be 3.

A touring do-it-all Pass Hunter in the hallway.
A gas pipe 1984 Raleigh Stratos currently resting without wheels in the spare room.
About to get my hands on a Genesis CdF for towpaths, mixed roads and general faffing. And herself.

I've went through another 4 bikes to get here.

I love a really fast porteur next - large rack, chunky 650b tyres, 8 speed hub gears, flipped North Road bars.

Another one with each day covered:
    Pinerello FP5
    Giant TCR ISP
    Focus CX
    Specialized Langster
    Scott Scale RC 29er
    Scott Scale 940 29er
    Specialized Stumpjumper Pro

The worrying thing is that the cheapest ones get used at least once a week and the expensive ones very rarely ... go figure!

    6.
    Ktm road
    Raleigh 1980 steel road.
    Specialized MTB
    2 High Nelly's 1. Humber 1952, 1. Raleigh 1968 made in Dublin
    1ladies Raleigh Nelly 1963.

Not as many as the last posters:

    - Scott addict with campag super record and bora ultras
    - Older colnago master with 11 speed record groupset and hyperon ultras
    - Ribble winter trainer with chorus 11 speed/campag shamals
    - Scott scale mtb with sram XX (about to be sold)
    - Giant XTC with older xtr and sram parts
    - Couple of frames that I don't know what to do with including another colnago master, a load of early 90s campag record parts that I intend putting on a frame over the summer and about 5 sets of spare wheels that I need to move on...

Would really love to get an original early 80s raleigh burner and a concorde squadra frame or carrera team frame (both 90s) but very hard to find...

Only 3 - My hardtail, my wife's hardtail (phnar) and my boys balance bike. Pretty tame, but any amount of bikes in a shed/house that are used is money well spent compared to what some people spend their money on. (kids playing outside a pub at 1am on a sunny day while their parents get pissed... not good) NEVER be embarrassed about buying good gear!!!

    4 bikes. 2 operational.

    1. Hack: Specialized Cross Roads (currently out of action needing two new wheels)

    2. Light Tourer/Commuter: Specialized Sirrus (converted to drops)

    3. Heavy Tourer: Surly LHT

    4. MTB: Carbon Lapierre something or other (Out of action needing a variety of parts)

    1. Road - Focus with 105 - Used for training and commuting
    2. Aero - Giant Propel with Ultegra - Used for training and triathlons

    3. TT - This is the +1 bike. On the look out for the right second hand bike, would love a Cervelo but pricey. Another option is the Felt B16 new.

Can really see the build quality in the Focus frame after 6 years. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Have most of the components replaced at this stage except for the two shifters. Hopefully these last as the latest generation are poor.
