    Check this out:

‘Kms4Kids’ is a 12 hour cycling relay event which will take place on Saturday September 5th 2015 in Rahugh, Co. Westmeath.

The route is actually just a 6km circle, and you can do as many of them as you fancy, take breaks, chill out and go again. Route here.

Proceeds go to the Neonatal Ward in the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin, which is the busiest maternity hospital in the country with over 9,000 babies born there each year. Over 1,000 of these are pre-term babies, (born between 23 and 36 weeks), many of them multiple births involving twins and triplets who are prone to early delivery.
The second benefactor will be the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar.

Details on why the event is taking place can be found here. Essentially, a lady gave birth to quads in February and her family want to do something as a way of thanks to both hospitals which were so great in the early stages of the 4 babies lives.

Yep. 6k loop around a back road. Wouldn't be the busy by any stretch of the imagination. Not sure what the marshaling situation is

Hi, just checking...is there a sign-on area, or 'gathering' place to head for? couldn't see that on the FB page (the directions and the garmin map have different start points)

Say if you were coming over from Tyrellspass village, alongside the motorway, over the M6 bridge and then ye get to the junction (Garryduff on the map) is it at that pub down on the right maybe?
I know it's only a small circuit so it wouldn't be too far away but just wanted to check as we would be taking it in as part of a spin ourselves and the wife has a limited range :o so wanted to head straight to sign on and then jump in for a few laps.
    thanks

Registration is at Rahugh National School. Here are the GPS coordinates - 53.345676, -7.406396 :)
So you come from Tyrrellspass, out past that pub (the Hazel) and there's a left turn off past there to the school. Surely be signposted I'd imagine
