Thinger Licht is the deserved fav in this race running off a very light weight. However, the 25s on offer from Ladbrokes looks way too big to me for Lucky Landing.

    Best of luck gents.

Missed the 10/1, but got 8/1 on My Good Brother in the 2:55 at Fairyhouse. Always puts in respectable performances in listed/group company against 100+ rated horses, the race it goes in today is of a much lower quality, and although it carries top weight, it's a mystery to me why this is the outsider of the field.

    DARK CRYSTAL 14/1 3.35 ayr

2 of his 3 wins have come at this track 1 at 7f and the other over C&D. Both wins were also in class 5 and both times off a mark of 59 and today is running off 58. But the thing that has convinced me to have a punt is both his wins were in the month of july.

    Whiskey No Ice 7-1 2.05
Ran well in defeat last 3.
I think this is a great chance to get off the mark.
    Ew bet at 7-1

    Argaki 14-1 3.35
Drawn in 2, ran a good race two back, all 3 that finished ahead of it that day have won since. I think 14-1 is great value, should go close.
Has been as high as 83 in ratings, runs off 63 here.

Unlucky . Would have won but for fact it was crowded out twice.

    Jinky 14-1 ew 4.45
Great c&d record. loves it around here. PP placing 4 here so I think this is good value.
Ran 2nd here in a grade 4 last time, losing by just over a length over c&d

Riding ban for young Donnacha in the last there. Disgusting race.

I am only calling for a ban, I doubt anything will be done about it.

You could even see people at the rail who were watching the race throw their hands in the air as if to say what the hell was that. Paying €20 in to watch was basically schooling - what a joke.

    apologies...thought he got one

would hate to have been a lad putting a couple of hundred on that but it goes without saying punting an aob horse with two in the race calls for caution to say the least

    What exactly happened ?

I didn't watch race or have a bet on it as I was suspicious to say the least when I seen 3 runners with two from AoB

The 1-2 was in the bag so Donnacha stopped riding about a furlong out despite having every chance.

Delusional stuff mate. He stop riding about 50 yards from home when he realised he wasn't getting there. Good riding.

Might have had more to do with Donnacha's inexperience as much as anything else. His horse was all over the shop in the closing stages and Donnacha either couldn't or wouldn't pull his whip through. Also noticed the horse wearing a sheepskin noseband, which is unusual for an O'Brien horse. Probably not the most straightforward of sorts.

It's a joke though. Brian O'Connell got a three day ban today for a cracking ride, yet Donnacha doesn't try a leg and as usual a blind eye is turned towards Coolmore.

I just watched the race to see what the stink was over. To me it seems more like incompetence than corruption. Hes a very inexperienced jockey at the end of the day, you have to expect poor rides.
