Hey guys the fantasyleague classic (paid entry) game is up and running for 2015/2016 i played it last season and enjoyed it

Its £10 to enter a team or £15/£20 options as well that give a little extra in terms of prize potential. £10k prize for 1st overall, £1k for second etc., as well as monthly/weekly prizes and a number of sub-competitions

Info here for anyone who might be interested :
    http://www.fantasyleague.com/Classic/Default.aspx

There's mini leagues as well you can set up (friends and enemies leagues they call them), and id be happy to set up a FSA one if there's enough interest on the forum here, they even provide medals and (possibly) a trophy depending on the number of entrants to the league.

Anyway sure have a gander at the site if you think you might be interested, I've already put in a team and would welcome some fellow boardsies for banter/competition.

Any questions about the game rules feel free to ask

What % of the entry fee goes to the prizepool?

Prize structure is set in advance, so would depend on eventual number of entrants. Its best you look at the prizes section yourself though there's alot more than just the overall competition

Why would you suggest people play this over regular FPL cash leagues or UFPL etc? Time is precious! I was going to do two UFPL teams so might be tempted to go with one and try something else.

i'm putting it out there as an option. UFPL is probably the most time-consuming of the lot with the different matchday deadlines within a single gameweek. anyway people can decide for themselves (i'll be playing the regular fpl game as well as this fantasyleague one this season), i only entered fantasyleague classic for the first time last year, but enjoyed it and it certainly offers something different from the other games out there, not everybody might know about it so set up a thread with the hope that a few might sign up to it and we can have a bit of fun with it throughout the course of the season
