Hi - we will have an aupair starting in sept who eill need to do school runs. We will have a car solely for the aupair. We're looking for advice on ground rules in regards use of the car outside child care time and fuel allowance. Any advice also on car insurance. Did you put her on her own policy or as a named driver? Any…

If the aupair is going to be the main driver the policy has to be in their name, otherwise it's known as fronting and illegal and they still load for the highest risk driver, assuming that the aupair doesn't have an Irish NCD I can't see the quote been cheap.
