One Booking - Two People - One No Show

    Hi all,

As thread title says, I have a booking made for my girlfriend and I with SAS but she is unable to travel.

I made the booking through a travel agent who will charge a 40 euro canceling fee so would I be wise to check myself in and leave my girlfriend as a no show so I will avoid the canceling fee?

Also if I inform the airline when at check in for my baggage that she will not be coming would that be the correct thing to do?

Any help with this matter would be appreciated. Thanks!

Had the same thing myself in January with Ryanair so I just checked us both in and just flew myself. No issues and no questions asked. I reckon you could just do the same.

That's all you need to do. Letting the check-in agent know is always good, as the flight may be oversold and they can get someone seated earlier and not have them waiting until the last minute.
