Canon EOS 1100d Zoom Lens Recommendations

Hi, I have a Canon EOS 1100d and the zoom lens goes as far to 55mm. I am looking to purchase a better zoom lens which I can zoom out further, from at least 55mm up to 200mm. So I can be able to zoom in and take photos for example like when my brother is surfing. Can any of you recommend what lens I can get and where from…

I picked up the sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 for under 200 in the camera centre on grafton street about a year ago. Although it has a cheap price tag it works well for me as a general purpose zoom lens
