Minecraft Tekkit Server Problem.

    I was running a server for me and my friend it was working perfect and then my computer crashed and the server was corrupt, anytime i tried to re open the server it just had multiple errors so i decided to load it all on to my other computer and run the server off that and just connect to my other computer instead so if this messes up again then ill still have my server and i no the other computer can still crash but it happens. My problem is that i have the server up and running fine on the other computer but i can only connect through my ipv4 - my local ip doesn't work for me or my friend and everything seems to be fine. Any ideas ?
