    I was laid off today,paye work since March 2014. We got no weeks notice,have to wait for p,45s and holidays due to us. Any how would I qualify fo this jobseekers benefit ?...

    1)Dont wait for P45 sign on on Monday morning.
    JSB if you have only payed stamps(prsi) since march 2014 you will be unlikely to qualify.Try JSA if you dont get JSB,if you cant get JSA sign on for credits.

    Has a redundancy payment been discussed?
    You would be due about 3.5 weeks gross pay.

    He has no redundancy entitlement as he hasn't been employed for the requisite 104 weeks

    That depends. If as it appears , you dont have enough PRSI contributions , then you will be means tested.
    The easiest way is if you simply provide them wwith all the documentation they require in as timely a fashion as possible.
    I would recommend photocopying everything you supply and making a note of when you supplied it and if possible , who you gave it too.
    While you are waiting for a desicion you can go to the CWO for an interim payment.
