    The main reason I mentioned it was I thought I'd seen somebody on here saying that they thought UPC might be about to make a big investment in something else (MVNO maybe), but now this happens.

    Theyre a Virgin subsidiary, they're likely to copy that model and become a quad play provider here.

    This could be interesting because Vodafone are to introduce their IPTV package very soon, they've already had trials. There have been whispers of Vodafone buying Liberty Global the parent company that owns both UPC and Virgin in the UK. Vodafone have lots of spare cash ($130bn after selling Verizon).
