Mac mini kernal panic solution?

    Hi people
I bought a mac mini around 2 & half years ago for 960 euro and have used it for just basic stuff, and just now when i turned it on I get "you need to restart your computer, hold down the power button until it turns off, then press the power button again"
I do that but it keeps doing the same and I can't get it to start up! I haven't installed any new ram or any other hardware for that matter.
I see people talking about reinstalling the OS on it but its a mac mini and has no CD/DVD drive!!
I see some suggesting to hold down the shift key and press the power button but nothing happens either, and I'm even thinking is the keyboard even connected to it at this stage as its a wireless key board and mouse and not sure if its connected because it fails to start up!
Can anyone help or has anyone a solution to this?
All that's connected to this is a HDMI lead and power lead, and the wireless keyboard and mouse
    Thank you

Seems odd. Do you have access to another Mac? If so, try to get a copy of an operating system on a USB stick and try booting from that.

You need to hold command + R on boot to get into recovery mode. If that doesn't work you'll probably have to get a wired keyboard from somewhere.

Would any wired keyboard do it?

I actually don't know anyone that has a Mac but if I was able to find someone, how would I go about doing that?

    Thanks people

    Should do.

Get the DMG file of the OS (maybe from the App Store), and then burn that to a USB stick through Disk Utility. There are plenty of tutorials online as to how to do it, and I've done it a few times myself.
