So you might remember Martyn Ashton from his massively popular Road Bike Party video series a few years back where he does come pretty nifty things on a road bike.

Well unfortunately Martyn had a serious accident a almost two years back and was left paralysed from the waist down.

Being the legend that he is, the former British and World trials champion is back in the saddle and giving it welly.
There's no fancy tricks and he's not going to be the fastest man on the hill but the fact that he's able to do what he loves most, ride bikes with his mates, is a really uplifting story.

    Prepare for the feels.

The expressions on his face are marvellous. You can see, he's really enjoying himself. And you can hear, that the rest of the riders are having a ball.
The man is an absolute legend and should be an inspiration to us all.

seen a good few of his vids pre and post accident and his attitude is top notch, always looking to gain more mobility in one way or another.. delighted to see him baiting it down that hill

Below is a piece, that Martyn wrote towards the end of 2014 about his rehabilitation and his recovery. He writes about trying different sports, like kayaking, hand biking, archery etc.
The last line of the article is very telling.
He's some man for one man.

Massive chapeau to the man, his family and friends.
