Treatments worries fertility

Hi This is a brief outline of my experience to date with the fertility clinic that myself and my partner are attending.

Attended nearly 2 months, met doctor, wrote out treatment plan, said printed version would be sent out. We chased it up but never appeared.
Was told to get blood tests did so fax them in as advised to do so, was 3 days without medication as trying to get new prescription from them. It was also obvious person who was speaking with me wasn't aware of what medication I was on previous month.
Also, my partner attended for a blood test and was told I should be on the pill, as it was Friday afternoon, I couldn't contact them as I believed this was wrong. Spoke to them on Monday evening and it was incorrect.
Was advised to ring when cycle started had to ring over 3 days, was told they would work out my dates and treatment plan and ring me back the following evening, they didn't I rang them back the following morning said they would send it out the over next 2 days. Going to give them a few more days but feeling really despondent.

Is this normal when undergoing fertility treatment? Is it this slapdash? Really worried about this as they are not inspiring confidence and we do only have one shot at this due to financial constraints.
Any thoughts/ideas on this would be appreciated

    Hi Googlebox,

I've just started the private IVF / ICSI route and had a very different experience to date.

Any of the nurses and specialist's I've dealt with have been a lot more professional than what i've read below.

If you are unhappy with your level of care I would strongly recommend changing.

When I was on the public system it was very slapdash, I had to nearly tell them what I wanted next... there was a few mix ups and mistakes, but thanks to this thread I had some prior knowledge.

Sorry this isn't more helpful x
