    Hi
I have a W203 (C- class Benz) and its been acting funny. Weeks ago i entered a pothole and it switched off and refused to start.
The key would not turn in the ignition. I got a tech to look at it who worked for hours and got it to turn but it would not start the engine.
He says the nozzle refuse to open and hence the brain box (ECU) is bad and need to be changed.
I changed the unit (4 components ..keys, and 3 other items that are programmed together) and it worked for 2 days.
I got in the car this morning and it is back to the original problem. THE KEYS WOULD NOT TURN IN THE IGNITION! Please help as im loosing my mind...

Go to another mechanic and get their opinion.

Not DIY, moved to main forum.

When you put the key in does it acknowledge, i.e release the steering lock and light the odometer ?

PM me if you like as I'm not in this section often.
