Anyone any experience of this or have any knowledge of when is the best time to book flights.

Looking to fly to Reus airport beginning of next June and just curious, When is the best time to book flights? Do i jump on them as soon as they are out? hang on the see what prices do or hang off altogether to January sales?

    I'm Stuck!

    Any info greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

Which airline would you prefer to fly with Aer Lingus or Ryanair?

    Ryanair fly to Reus.
Aer Lingus fly to Barcelona and Reus is an hours drive away (i think).

Flights for June next year will not have been released yet... I would suggest checking flights as if you were travelling in July or August to give you a guide price with both airlines. I usually make a note of the flight prices and at time of booking I will know if I am getting a good deal or not but Aer Lingus usually have a sale around Nov / Dec and prices are usaully quite good and by then the flights for June should be up online.

Ryanair will probably be the same with releasing flights around December or January but I would not book straight away hold off with ryanair as they can change flight prices quite often.

Hope this is of some help.

I did read an article recently which said cheapest time to book is 47 - 50 days before you travel.... I might test that out this year as I have no flights booked for September this year and really dislike being this dis organised.

Going to slightly hijack this. Thats great information JesseT. We are looking at going to the USA next August (honeymoon) so I looked at the prices for this August to get an idea. Does anyone know (as I can't seem to find it) if we can fly Delta into Atlanta but come home from Boston? Booking a one way to Atlanta is over 3000 euro for the 2 of us!!!
