    Are banded steel wheels illegal in Ireland?
    I'm considering making up a set for a car I have.

    This is some shoddy ass welding.
    The guy says he's using a TIG welder but it looks like stick before the slag is chipped. :(

    I wouldn't let those near my car, there's **** all strength in a weld that burnt.

    Its easier to flip the centers with basic tools

    That would be the way to go alright, but i'd still need to have the centers welded back into the wheel, a skill a don't have.
