I have the pleasure of heading to Malta the last week in August. Can anyone recommend some decent routes for a trot.
Might try and squeeze in a race if there are any going. Anyone around these parts ever race there?

    Thanks.

Was there a few years ago. Found it tricky to find any decent route around Valetta where I was staying.

Road surface is quite poor in most parts from what I saw and I found the footpaths very sore on the legs for running whatever they're mad from.

Didn't find any races over there but didn't look for any.

    Enjoy, tis a nice spot.

I was staying in le meridien in St Julian's, there's a good path to run on along the sea front from there to sliema, then an okay path up to Valletta.

If you fancy a shorter run you can also take a bus to Valletta and run back, nice bit of down hill at the start.

The path from st. Juliens to sliema would be good for running it's in good shape

You may not want to in the heat though it was forty plus when I was in Malta in august a couple of years ago
