Volvo VIDA DICE

    Hi, would anyone here have a Volvo VIDA/DICE in Dublin, Galway, or anywhere in between? Having an issue with lights and the boot lock on an 08 S40 with the common denominator being the Central Electronics Module. I can't get further than that myself though.

    Volvo want €80 plus VAT to even scan it and can't fit me in for a week minimum, and buying one online will take 2 weeks to get here. I'd much rather give a Boardsie €50 quid to help me out too! Alternatively, can anyone recommend a reliable garage with this equipment?

    Would really appreciate a hand!

    You might have already checked this........ have came across a 08 s40 with no power to the boot door and no number plate light bulbs lighting up and it was simply just the wiring broke going to the boot door.

    Have you inspected where the wiring from the rear quarter panel goes to the boot door, think u need to remove a rubber cover over the wiring to check it. (pretty sure its on the left hand side of boot opening)

    That's where I originally started, and everything checked out with what online forums were saying, and also checked with a multimeter, so bought the wiring harness from Volvo which didn't work! Only then did I notice the flickering rear light
