How old is it? Often if they are young enough you can massage it back in twice daily and over a number of days it stays, depends on the severity though. I got one done 2yrs ago on a 16 week old and it cost €90 all in.

I have seen a couple of litters now that have it from the bitch not cleaning their umbilical cord properly, a pup of mine had it and it disappeared after a few weeks. I think all the litter of the pup i got had it. Is it the size of a small acorn and in the middle of her belly?

I'm not sure of the size he said it only shows when she's been feed. His vet said it easy fix at 6 months mesh.

dont worry about it should go away itself if its still there at 6 months then go get it done very simple procedure cost from 50 to 100 euro its from the bitch biting the cord too close ive seen lots of pups with them and senn them go away by themselves every time i used to massage them back in like kiltris said if it continues to get bigger go straight to a vet

If you plan on using the pup for breeding in the future it will be worth getting a vet to check that it isn't a congenital umbilical hernia, as it is not recommended to breed from these dogs if that is the case.
