What voltage battery have used in the M249.
Dose it come with a battery
How old is it and is there any issue with it
Any idea of the rate of fire.
Do you have the original Bipod
Where in Tipperary are you based.

    Thanks for interest,

    I use a 9.6v but it doesn’t come with a battery,
Not sure of the age , bought from a guy who used it for CQB !, 3 skirmishes, then stored for 6 months 2 short outings with me. Std Hop up is known to be pretty bad, which is down to the nub, but adjusted it with a longer nub to get some range , still using original rubber, test all my aeg’s on a 2 ft square target at 45 M distance, it hits target before full hop up, not very tight groupings but smile inducing hits.
It was sticking on full auto which was down to the style of trigger switch, quick fix was adjusting lever same as the CA switch, i have't had any probs with it since.
Rate of fire = 850rpm per my chrono , original std gearbox, solid gearbox designed for continuous fire, (would need to keep mag box switch up for that)
sorry I haven’t the original bipod. I am based near Tipperary town .

Thanks for the detailed response but I was hopeing you had the original bipod and I am looking for some thing with a higher Rate of fire, around 1000/1200rpm. GLWS
